KNEC Bridging Course in Math, Physics, Chemistry or Biology

Duration: 9 months (3 TERMS)
Entry Requirements: KNEC KCSE Exam.

We offer bridging courses in Mathematics & Science subjects including: Chemistry, Physics and Biology.

Bridging courses provide learners a second chance to re-sit their low subject grades in Form 4 KCSE National Exam

Bridging a KNEC subject covers a duration of 9 MONTHS (3 TERMS).

All students who have completed KCSE, regardless of year they sat, are now eligible to register as private candidates for a KNEC bridging course in January 2025.

Please note the next Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC) registration for Private Candidates will OPEN in JANUARY 2025.


Classes will begin in FEB 2025 for students who wish to re-sit the KNEC K.C.S.E. exams in November 2025

Please register by JANUARY 2025 and note registration cannot be done after the deadline, once the National Portal has been closed.

Most of our students aim to join the Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) after the completion of the course and other instituitions. Bridging Subjects include:

  • Mathematics
  • Biology
  • Chemistry
  • Physics

The above subjects are examined by the Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC) with training for private candidates being offered at BRIDGE COLLEGE

Please note clear copies of the documents required:

  • Copy of KCSE results
  • Copy of KCPE Certificate
  • Copy of Birth Certificate
  • 4 coloured passport photos

This course targets students who wish to improve a particular subject grade in order to attain the minimum requirements for higher education or for a professional course. Students can bridge ONE,TWO upto THREE subjects at a time.

Please note the overall KCSE mean grade does not change even after you pursue a bridging course.

You will however be issued a new result slip by KNEC for the subject that has been assessed a second time.
